We were all front row, I was on the far right section but that fat b**** security guard sat down and faced me the entire evening allowing you to freely film the entire thing. Glad I could be a decoy!*** So thank geordy for the above clip (and entire show, to be torrented soon) even existing. What I really remember about this show is the 1-2 punch of 'Spoonman > Jesus Christ Pose'. and hearing Chris' voice during the first 1.5 songs and thinking "did he screw the pooch last night??? he sounds horrible." and then by the end of JCP, you could close your eyes, and his shrieks took you right back to 1994 again. point: Chris Cornell. The rest of this show is a mixed cornucopia of fan favorites and new songs mixed with deep cuts. the hypnotic, riveting "By Crooked Steps" (now called "Crooked Steps" May17), the pummeling "Room A Thousand Years Wide", Fresh Tendrils (!!!), Loud Love (!!!!!!!!), the always bumblebee-like "Ty Cobb", the haunting "4th Of July" (8 "Superunknown" songs were played at this show, btw). the 1-2 salvo that opened the encore of 'King Animal' tracks "Non-State Actor" > "Eyelids Mouth", it was like...... WTF??? Oh yeah, you guys played all the other good shit on Tuesday night. Both of these shows are bookends to the best 48 hours I ever spent with Soundgarden in this lifetime....see if you agree. He's really outshined himself here. give thanks to Anderson for his time and effort in getting this out there quickly to the masses. at some point, we may do a remastered audio/blu ray deluxe edition, but this should give you a good idea of what it was all about. A simple "fuck you" will suffice for the likes of me. ---ballsdeep OUT!!!
